SENSING TECHNOLOGY
IoT technology gathers data at a “point of activity” by capturing data from associate appliances, wearable devices, terminals or any range of found devices. The sensors are fibre optic, visual, infra-red and etc.
OPTIMUM COMMUNICATION
IoT devices need a way for transmittal the data perceived at the device level to a Cloud-based service for ulterior process. This needs either wireless local area network (WLAN), local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) communications.
CAPTURE & CONSOLIDATE
Gathered data from IoT devices are transmitted across a group of cloud based services to produce helpful information for the end user.
The information being consolidated comes from different web sources or IoT devices. The raw data may requires further processing and analysis to produce helpful data.
DATA DELIVERY
The last step is data delivery to the end user. The goal is to supply the data across multiple device platforms – tablets, smartphones, desktop – across multiple operative systems – iOS, Android, Windows, etc.
