Ventura Supports PIE 2025 Johor: Nurturing Young Innovators for a Sustainable Future

Ventura is proud to have served as a sponsor of Projek Pengalaman Idea (PIE) 2025 Johor, an innovative program that brings together schools, universities, education authorities, and industry partners to inspire the next generation of STEM talents.

Held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, PIE 2025 carried the theme “IoT for Carbon Zero” and involved 25 secondary schools with 100 student participants. The program was structured in three phases: training and workshops, product development, and knowledge transfer to STEM clubs. This approach gave students the opportunity to learn, innovate, and present their IoT-based solutions for real-world sustainability challenges.

The closing ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Public Works, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Maslan, with strong support from UTM, Johor State Education Department (JPN Johor), and IEEE ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter.

Some of the winning projects included:

SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, Kulai – Gold in the Zero Hunger category

SMK Tasek Utara Dua – Gold in the Sustainable Cities and Communities category

PIE 2025 is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas such as Quality Education, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Sustainable Cities.

At Ventura, we believe education and innovation are the keys to building a better future. Supporting PIE 2025 reflects our commitment to empowering youth, encouraging creativity, and contributing to Malaysia’s journey towards Industrial Revolution 4.0 and a sustainable future.

We congratulate all the participating schools, teachers, and students for their inspiring ideas and look forward to supporting more initiatives that connect education, technology, and sustainability.
