Ventura Conducts High-Tech Railway Intrusion Detection Workshop for KTMB

On 11 June 2026, Ventura successfully conducted the High-Tech Railway Intrusion Detection: DAS & REDA Workshop with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The workshop provided a platform for technical knowledge sharing and collaboration, bringing together representatives from Ventura and KTMB to review the current implementation of the Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) system, discuss operational experiences, and explore opportunities to further enhance railway intrusion detection and response capabilities. The session also featured REDA (Real-time Encroachment Detection Alarm), Ventura’s value-added solution designed to complement the DAS system by providing real-time encroachment alerts and location-based information to support safer railway operations.

The interactive discussions and technical exchanges reinforced the shared commitment between Ventura and KTMB to advancing railway safety, operational efficiency, and digital transformation through innovative technologies.
